Cornish Game Hens

 

 

Ingredients

• 1 Granny Smith apple
• 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
• 2 tablespoons sage
• 2 tablespoons poultry seasoning
• 2 tablespoons paprika
• 3 gloves crushed garlic
• 2 Cornish hens
• 2 cups white wine

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Cut the apple into eighths. Mix seasonings and garlic together in a medium bowl.

3. Clean hens and pat dry, rub mix on hens inside and out.

4. Place apples in hens, place hens in shallow glass dish and poor in wine.

5. Cover with tin foil and baste every 15mins and turn once half way through.

6. Cook till juices run clear and no longer pink (1hr 20mins).
