Ingredients
  • 1 12-ounce package chow mein noodles
  • 1 tablespoon peanut oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cabbage, cut into shreds
  • 1 carrot, sliced
  • 1/2 cup vegetable broth
  • 1 cup fresh snow peas
  • 1 8-ounce can bamboo shoots
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

Instructions:
1. Boil chow mein noodles. Drain.

2. While the noodles are cooking, heat the oil in a wok or frying pan to medium heat.
3. Cook onion for a few minutes, then add cabbage and carrots.
4. Place cooked noodles in pan and vegetable broth, and mix to combine them with other ingredients. Cook for five minutes or so.
5. Add snow peas, bamboo shoots, stir fry sauce, and soy sauce. Stir fry until snow peas are cooked, but still crispy.
6. Enjoy.
